As part of the GoodZero team, you will enhance our team's effectiveness by conducting comprehensive market trend research, analyzing project categories and ecosystems, managing inventory, digitizing processes, and supporting in the carbon credit sourcing activities.

Your Responsibilities as a Carbon Market Analyst

  • Conduct comprehensive research on market trends and quantitative and qualitative supply/market analysis of the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM).
  • Analyze project developers, suppliers, and other actors in the VCM, connecting with project developers or potential partners early in the processs.
  • Document and research various carbon credit project categories, providing insights and analysis to support sourcing execution, investments, and strategy.
  • Maintain a weekly overview of the current/expected inventory of carbon credits and responsible supplier pipeline while promoting and facilitating Hubspot and reviewing the Carbon Management Customer Portal.
  • Create an internal knowledge hub to spread market/project insights, support for commercial purposes, the team with various reporting tasks and proposals, and explore tooling to strengthen our high quality and transparant approach.

As our new Front Runner you bring

  • Master's degree preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Services, Business, or a similar field.
  • 0-2 years of working experience (in a sustainable role is a big plus).
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Especially PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to present complex data effectively);
  • Intrinsic motivation to contribute to a better world and comfort of working in a fast-changing environment.
