In this role, you will develop, implement, and enhance a holistic supply chain ESG management approach, ensuring our practices align with Axpo's ambitious sustainability goals.

What you will do:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain ESG management strategy.
• Collaborate with specialist departments and suppliers to achieve sustainability targets.
• Create and maintain ESG policies for supply chain management.
• Define sustainable criteria for suppliers, products, and tenders.
• Introduce and manage an ESG KPI dashboard for monitoring measures.
• Expand the use of tools like EcoVadis and Ariba Risk module for ESG topics.
• Provide significant contributions to supplier relationship management and evaluation.
• Ensure accurate reporting for Axpo's sustainability reports.
• Conduct training sessions for buyers and specialist departments.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Sustainability and SCM Risk Team.
• Support in responding to customer questionnaires on purchasing-related topics.

• Proven experience in developing SCM ESG concepts and processes.
• Extensive knowledge in ESG management, including models, analyses, and reporting.
• Experience in matrix organizations and lateral leadership in project settings.
• Master’s degree in business administration, economics, sustainability, environmental studies, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in ESG management.
• Proficient in Office 365, especially Excel; knowledge of ESG tools like Ariba, EcoVadis is a plus.
• Fluent in both German and English.
