European Energy is a green energy company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. You will be part of our Energy Trading & PPA team which is responsible for green power sales to energy distributors and corporate off-takers. The team currently consists of six full-time employees and one student assistant based in our headquarters in Copenhagen.
European Energy is a dynamic work environment and there will be opportunities to get involved in many areas of the business.
Your role will be centered around investigating revenue streams for flexible assets and modelling the potential value for European Energy. You are on top of the market and know what is going on, and you will utilize your market intelligence regarding trends in short-term power markets and ancillary services. Combined with your background and experience within energy markets, you will help to increase the financial modelling capacity in the department.
Your workday will be a mixture of days at the office doing market analysis and attending industry events to meet potential partners.
Ad hoc tasks and challenges will be part of the role as the renewable energy business moves into new areas. Expect regular interactions with internal stakeholders as well as project/business developers from wind, solar, PtX, and batteries.
As a person, you are a self-starter, take initiative, and enjoy working independently with great opportunities for sparring within the team. You are friendly and curious, and you use this to build relationships internally with other departments as well as externally in the energy market.
