What will you be doing?

With anchoring in our ‘People & Compliance function’, you will be based in our dedicated Compliance & Sustainability team driving the operational implementation of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

As our Sustainability Project lead you will play a critical role in ensuring we as a company adhere to our sustainability regulatory requirements and meet our sustainability goals.

You will report to the Chief People Office and work closely together with the colleagues in Compliance and Sustainability team, from our office in Allerød, Denmark.

Drive the operational Implementation of CSRD including:

  • Conducting double materiality assessment;
  • Mapping and analysis of ESG impacts, risks and opportunities;
  • Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a range of sustainability initiatives;
  • Conducting Climate Account for BWSC, among leading BWSC to achieve our environmental regulatory requirements;
  • Conducting Gap Analysis;
  • Develop targets and metrics for implementation;
  • Monitoring sustainability legislation.

What do you bring to the field

We foresee that the ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and the journey towards greener energy. Experience with sustainability and the implementation of CSRD either in house or from a consultant role.

Further the ideal candidate can translate strategic plans into actions and enjoys both driving/leading the implementation and dive into details, establish processes and systems as needed.

To be successful in this role, you are self-driven and take initiative and can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • You have an educational background within Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or a related field within an engineering or industrial context;
  • Knowledge of CSRD: In-depth understanding of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and its implications for companies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations;
  • Proven ability to manage and lead complex projects, with attention to detail and deadlines;
  • You are a team player with good interpersonal skills both when it comes to interacting with colleagues and other key stakeholders;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT in general.
