Summary

As part of the Sales team for World Kinect Corporation, you will manage the execution of strategy to identify, develop, and pursue business opportunities through the profitable sale of energy solutions (gas, electricity, advisory services, client services) to large commercial & industrial clients throughout UK &Ireland, of which many will be National Accounts as well as part of Global Corporations with multiple sites.

In addition to selling energy management services, the Sales Executive will support all our WFS Segments accelerate the sales of our Sustainability products and services into new and existing customers. The Sales Executive will work with Subject Matter Experts, Key Account Managers and Marketing to support the commercial activities across all Sustainability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies and implements initiatives necessary to achieve sales objectives, including GP/sales volume and increased positive bottom-line results;
  • Drives strategies and tactics for key accounts (existing and prospects);
  • Provides/coordinates support for proposal preparations and contract negotiations for complex commercial/professional transactions;
  • Manages margins through continuous review of market conditions and competitive landscape;
  • Responsible for individual sales and goals;
  • Prospect and identify new leads and opportunities;
  • Document activities in Salesforce CRM;
  • Achieve sales goals;
  • Lead on-site and off-site sales presentations to potential large c&I customers;
  • Direct all stages of sales process;
  • Maximize margins while meeting sales goals;
  • Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary;
  • Seek and Share knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc.;
  • Provide weekly sales projections and status updates (excellent pipeline management);
  • Market Development - Identify new Energy/Sustainability customer growth opportunities;
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to build customer base and market intelligence;
  • Performs other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued from leaders as required.

Requirements, Competencies and Certifications

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or client-facing sales experience (with proven track record to C&I);
  • Ideally, 4+ years of relevant Energy Management and/or Sustainability sales experience;
  • Sales consultancy experience with high level decision makers will be a key advantage;
  • We encourage partly office based working to build company culture, client visits and home working.
