Your responsibilities

  • Lead Uniper’s renewable market analysis and the renewable long term outlook;
  • Orchestrate the key believes for our long term power outlook with respect to renewables development, incl. technological developments, new build and regulatory aspects;
  • Ensure efficient and close collaboration between the analysts and stakeholders to deliver insight, analyses and forecasts on the wider renewable and decarbonization topics;
  • Confidently apply complex fundamental market models and identify improvement potential for the existing methodological framework of the different product forecasts;
  • Deliver into and ensure relevance to commercial and strategic decision making and proactively support investment decisions, origination and trading;
  • Create new business ideas to drive decarbonization and commercial success.

Your profile

  • Excellent education in the field of Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar;
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of energy markets and trading environment, in-depth understanding of the European power & RES markets required;
  • Relevant experience in the field of renewable energy and fundamental power market modelling is a must have;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; in particular, ability to integrate different views and to mediate/interact between the renewables/trading/origination teams and market analysis;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer analysts, the wider renewable teams and traders across multiple teams and locations;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required, additional languages as German beneficial.
