As a Senior Business Development Manager at enmacc, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and expanding our market presence within the energy trading sector. Your Responsibilities/What you’ll do:

You will work on several strategic projects to help us unlock the most promising opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with enmacc's growth objectives;
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats;
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances with key players in the energy trading ecosystem;
  • Market Expansion: Define and execute market expansion strategies, including entry into new and adjacent segments;
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, track performance metrics, and provide insights to the leadership team;
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure a unified approach to business development efforts. Cross-functional responsibilities will include:
  • Product Strategy: Collaborate with the product development team to align product offerings with market demand:
    • Client Engagement: Oversee the development and maintenance of strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Revenue Generation: Contribute to revenue growth through successful lead generation, negotiation, and contract closures.

Your profile/What you’ll need:

  • 6+ years experience in at least one of the following:
    • Energy trading or origination;
    • Trading technology in energy, commodity or financial markets;
    • Strategy consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or similar;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy working in fast-paced environments;
  • Autonomous self-starter who can work on own initiative;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a plus;
  • Skilful at building long-term relationships with executives and key stakeholders.
