Your responsibilities

  • Leveraging energy market expertise to inform asset transformation strategy:
    • Provide deep market expertise in transformative growth areas for the energy markets (e.g. H2, flex, RES):
      • Translate Uniper’s core market beliefs into concrete ideas for portfolio transformation (e.g. business cases, hunting schemes)
      • Conduct analysis of the current and future Uniper asset base, assessing new business options, integrating technical, commercial and regulatory value drivers in comprehensive assessments
      • Support in articulating strategic guardrails for major business and project development cases
  • Project management:
    • Support in the execution of complex projects, involving, steering and facilitating stakeholder groups from across the company
    • Collaborate closely with sites and other business functions, e.g. Asset Operations, Business Controlling, Power, Asset Based Contracts, Asset Development etc.
    • Work with external consultants and/or stakeholders
    • Provide support in the alignment of critical assumptions and present results across all reporting lines

Your profile

  • Interest in developing deep market expertise in transformative growth areas for the energy markets (e.g. H2, flex, RES), ideally bringing in some relevant previous working experience (technical, business plan or policy) on at least one key asset growth area
  • Good understanding of at least one of the energy market dynamics of Uniper core markets (focus DE, UK, NL, SW, HU or/and for RES IT, FR) and the relevant drivers for transformation, especially regulatory frameworks and support mechanisms
  • Excellent university degree in engineering, economics, social or natural science
  • Strong analytical, strategic, entrepreneurial thinking, combined with an inquisitive mind
  • Ease and interest to grow skills in project management and collaborative stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (story lining, summarizing key analytical outcomes, board-ready communication)
  • Proficient skills in English language and ideally one additional language from Uniper core markets
  • 1-5 years of relevant working experience (within or outside of Uniper)
