AFS Energy is growing, and so is the EAC/Biomethane team! We are looking for a communicative strong and sales driven mastermind that is able to support the DACH region, and to build new relationships with (potential) clients. Therefore we are looking for a fluent German speaker. Would you like to contribute to the growth of our company, and the growth of this desk!? Do you already have some experience or interest in Biogas/biomethane? Then we would love to get to know you better!

The focus of the position

Conducting market research to analyse market trends, potential clients, and competitors to help inform business decisions;
Executing trades where you are responsible for execution on behalf of clients, following established trading protocols and procedures;
Being able to do acquisition where cold calling is crucial to building up your own client portfolio;
Developing strategies to improve performance: You boost client satisfaction and meet sales targets;
Maintaining existing relationships while creating your own portfolio with new clients and stakeholders.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher;
At least +2 years in a Sales focused position (Trader, Broker, New Business or similar):
- Sales experience (in the sustainability field) is a big plus.
You are fluent in English and German. Any other languages is a preferred;
Eager, energetic, curious, and proactive by nature;
Independent, but also a strong team player;
Curious, persistent and full of guts: this is an adventure for which you definitely need to possess these qualities.
