What you will do:
- Support the development of battery projects, from site identification to securing all permits
- Collaborate with external development partners
- Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and the battery market in Germany
- Coordinate with grid operators, landowners, planning authorities, and other stakeholders
- Assist in external representation of Axpo Batteries Germany, e.g., preparing articles or networking at fairs and conferences
- Conduct site analyses and support due diligence processes
- Manage critical documents and communication with internal and external stakeholders
What you bring & who you are:
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, or a comparable field
- First work experience through internships or other employment, ideally in project management or energy-related projects
- Strong interest in energy markets and the energy economy
- Entrepreneurial mindset paired with a structured approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team across multiple locations
- Fluent in German (Level C1 required) with proficiency in English
