About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Group Sustainability Manager to drive and advance our resource efficiency, including climate, and strategy at the group level. In this pivotal role, you will focus on identifying and driving strategic global initiatives in the areas of resource efficiency, sustainable operations & products, and contributing to the sustainable financing agenda. As part of the group sustainability team, you will collaborate across functions to align our resource efficiency ambitions with business objectives and industry standards.

Reporting: to Head of Climate & Green Financing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic initiatives: Lead strategic initiatives to advance in environmental areas, such as operational and product energy/water efficiency, increase the share of recycled content in core materials, low-carbon materials, circularity, and waste reduction;
  • Risk and Opportunity Assessment: Monitor environmental risks and opportunities, providing insights to guide business decisions and drive innovation;
  • Environmental Strategy: Implement and oversee the group’s environmental strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and emerging trends;
  • Resource Efficiency: Develop, implement, and oversee the group’s strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and emerging trends;
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure progress, identify gaps, and recommend continuous improvement strategies. Lead and improve data accuracy in the company’s sustainability data collection system;
  • Sustainable Financing: Support the Group´s sustainable financing agenda, by identifying projects according to the criteria defined in the financing framework as well as contributing to the development of the annual impact report;
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams, investors, and NGOs, to communicate progress and advocate for sustainable practices.

About you:

  • Analytical: you can translate data into actionable insights. With an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data, prioritize, and translate this into meaningful, useful management information;
  • Communicative: you have great storytelling skills and know how to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, internally and externally;
  • Structured: you have excellent project management skills; you know how to engage different stakeholders and work effectively across functions and with external stakeholders;
  • Team player. You have exceptional collaboration skills, and a proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners;
  • Agile: you work efficiently and proactively to deliver results and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving global initiatives in sustainability management, environmental strategy, or similar;
  • Strong understanding of environmental science and resource efficiency principles;
  • Driven by passion for driving positive environmental impact at scale;
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science/engineering, Sustainability Management/Transformation, or a related field.
