Sales/Business Development Manager

We are searching for a Sales/Business Development Manager to drive our business growth in the Renewable Hydrogen market in the DACH/Eastern Europe region. You will be Nel’s face in the region and represent the company in a professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy way. The position is based in Germany.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop strategies and execute plans for growing Nel’s business in the DACH/Eastern Europe region to achieve the company’s sales goals;
- Identify and assess market opportunities and prospects, and lead business development and commercial activities within your segments/regions;
- Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, act as global or regional key account manager for certain strategic accounts;
- Attend industry events, conferences, and other relevant gatherings;
- Establish and cultivate effective business relationships with key industry players;
- Drive the development of new market initiatives and ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration across Nel’s global organization;
- Work collaboratively with Nel’s large projects tender organization to define tender strategy and support execution and nurture the customer relationship.
Key qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Engineering and/or Business Management;
- Minimum 10 years' of experience within business development and sales;
- Industry background from hydrogen, industrial gases, renewable energy, fuel, or chemical process industry is a great advantage;
- Good understanding of the overall energy landscape;
- Experience from large, complex, industrial projects, industry equipment, and EPC business requirements;
- Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
