The Power Analysis team at Alpiq is seeking a Junior Power Analyst to improve and strengthen the power markets modelling and analysis.

Your accountabilities

• Developing tools and improving trading models by using programming techniques, in particular machine learning and optimization;
• Maintaining, expanding and enhancing existing analysis solutions for traders;
• Collaboration with Market Analysis teams.

Your profile

• University degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science or Quantitative Economics;
• Up to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Strong Coding (R, Python, etc.) and database skills (SQL);
• Understanding of energy markets is a plus;
• Fluency in English required;
• EU or Swiss passport.
