We want to be thought leaders in ESG.
So we’ll always keep your data in mind.

Do you have a postgraduate qualification in IT, data science, sustainability or ESG, analytics and management, business analytics, statistics or a related discipline? Are you experienced in ESG reporting and sustainability analysis, ideally within a financial institution, development bank or rating agency? Then you can deliver insights that will shape the ESG performance of a pan-European bank with a unique social mandate.

Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

Developing and maintaining detailed ESG-related information and documentation alongside key stakeholders, you will prepare sustainability reports that enable us to remain at the forefront of best practice. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure ongoing compliance with constantly evolving disclosure standards and increasing requirements of ESG rating agencies. Your expertise will guide us in identifying ESG risks, uncovering new opportunities, and advising on emerging trends, all while developing key performance indicators that drive continuous improvement and long-term success.

To join us, you should bring:

  • Sound knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards such as ISSB, GRI, TCFD, SASB and/or CSRD;
  • Knowledge of ESG rating methodologies, tools and databases such as Bloomberg ESG, MSCI ESH and Sustainalytics;
  • Formal ESG certification and experience of data analysis tools such as Python and R (ideal but not essential);
  • Demonstrable flair for interpreting requirements and presenting data clearly via compelling images, graphs and charts;
  • Proven ability to manage and analyse large datasets within Excel, Access PowerBI or similar software;
  • Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in designing and conducting data validation, error checking and quality assurance;
  • Highly developed project management, organisational and multitasking skills;
  • Fluency in either English or French, with the commitment to reach a good working level in the other language.

Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system before the deadline of 14 March 2025, midnight Paris time. Please mention the job board when applying.
