Join Axpo as a Gas Spot Trader and play a key role in optimizing our European gas portfolio. You will be responsible for daily trading activities, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring a smooth nomination process. What you will do:

• Optimize the gas portfolio to maximize profitability;
• Trade across all markets where Axpo Bulgaria operates;
• Evaluate and monitor positions, identifying trading opportunities and risks;
• Ensure daily balance of WD/DA positions and secure gas flows through correct capacity booking;
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth and accurate nomination process;
• Support back/mid-office and risk processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

What you bring & who you are:

• University degree in mathematics, computational science, engineering, finance, or economics;
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in energy trading;
• Strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and trading systems;
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written);
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to explain complex risks intuitively.
