Your main responsibilities
- Produce and analyze daily P&L reports for trading and origination teams, providing detailed breakdowns and highlighting key drivers behind market movements.
- Engage closely with trading, origination, and local management, actively challenging assumptions and contributing to decision-making.
- Ensure and verify alignment between Front Office offers and portfolio agreements, focusing on volumes and P&L compliance.
- Guarantee the complete and accurate representation of the Alpiq portfolio across all systems.
- Identify and resolve errors proactively, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial Reporting, providing actionable insights.
- Analyse, present and explain financial impacts of changes in portfolio production and consumption forecasts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), oversee portfolio structure, and support cross-functional processes to optimize efficiency.
- Enhance and contribute to the development of current and future reporting tools for Originators, Trading, and Management.
Your profile
- Higher degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar positions in energy companies, it is essential to bring knowledge in the gas and electricity market.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong willingness to engage with Management and Sales&Origination teams, coupled with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset to challenge the status quo.
- Above-the-average analytical skills and ability to deal with high levels of complexity (systems and processes).
- A team player with strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and a results-driven approach. Capable of handling daily challenges with initiative and critical thinking.
- Fluency in English is a must, any other European language a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
