As our Team Head of Project Development, in Germany, you will lead the development of solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects from initial concept to Ready-To-Build status. This role involves navigating complex regulatory environments, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving projects to completion. Your Job

  • Monitor and Develop Projects: Oversee projects under development, from pre-feasibility through to authorized and priced stages.
  • Design Economically Viable Projects: Create projects that are both financially and technically sound, adhering to procedures and regulations in consultation with local stakeholders.
  • Obtain Administrative Authorizations: Ensure all necessary permits and authorizations are secured, coordinating with partners for environmental impact studies, technical assessments, and compliance with study budgets.
  • Lead Meetings and Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate, organize, and lead working and presentation meetings, ensuring local stakeholders are informed and consulted throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical and Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and build a local network by participating in relevant events and forums.
  • Report and Monitor Activities: Maintain accurate records through monthly activity reports and monitoring tools, and oversee project budgets and invoicing.
  • Contribute to Project Improvement: Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Group's solar power plant projects.
  • Manage Project Scope: Handle projects with a high degree of autonomy, serving as a key point of reference under the guidance of your manager.

Your profile

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, ideally in photovoltaic projects.
  • Leadership: Initial experience in leading a team and a willingness to mentor and share knowledge with younger team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar situations with a structured approach to work.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of new energies and technical knowledge, coupled with a thorough grasp of the administrative procedures required for large-scale projects.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel and hold a valid driving license.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is required.
