Energy Management Structurer Specialist

In the role of Energy Management Structurer Specialist, the candidate will report directly to the Head of Global Contract Structuring & Negotiation, supporting the structuring and negotiation of hedging instruments for the company’s energy asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of complex bespoke deals and transactions (derivatives, financial instruments, PPA’s, GSPA’s etc.), on the European Market, to secure favorable terms and proper risk allocation for long- and short-term energy sales;
- Support the creation and design along with the commercial team, of innovative deals/transactions, alternative solutions and/or adaptation of existing products to different markets, as well as to development/improvement of contract templates and financial instruments;
- Support negotiation of contracts and financial instruments with clients and/or stakeholders and review contract documentation in collaboration with Legal;
- Support the development/improvement of contract risk assessment tools, to better assess contractual risks and identify mitigation actions to be applicable to each deal/transaction;
- Support M&A and business development in contract risk evaluation, measurement and assessment in potential new business structures and deals;
- Support monitoring of existing and future PPAs and related contracts and safeguard that contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting contracts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field;
- At least three years of experience in contract and hedging instruments structuring and negotiation (forward contracts, options, derivatives, etc.) in the power sector;
- Strong understanding of energy markets, corporate renewable energy procurement, and risk management;
- Excellent analytical and organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment;
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Professionalism and reliability.
Languages:
- Fluent in English;
- Preferrable another language (Spanish, Italian, French).
Travel requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel independently to all worksites as needed.
