ESG Policy Manager – make the most of your ESG knowledge and become our new valued ESG business partner!

Do you have a passion for sustainability and ESG and would you like to manage exciting projects that can improve our ESG performance?

We are currently looking for an ESG policy manager to join our Sustainability team. You will work on implementing, strategising, integrating, and executing our ESG agenda, which we have further developed throughout the past couple of years.

From identification to implementation

As our ESG Policy Manager, you will help ensure that Eurowind Energy complies with applicable laws and standards through project management, drafting various elements of the sustainability report, and continuous improvement of processes.

In line with our materiality assessment, we are currently closing gaps and continuously setting our ESG ambition in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders in our organisation in preparation for CSRD reporting in 2026.

In addition to staying up to date on the ESG field, you will:

  • Develop and update the company’s ESG policies and procedures
  • Improve and follow up on Eurowind Energy’s sustainability reporting
  • Support internal departments, suppliers, and customers with ESG inquiries and marketing sustainability initiatives
  • Participate in and drive various sustainable partnerships and collaborations with other organisations and companies
  • Become a valued business partner in some of Eurowind Energy’s ESG workstreams

Project manager DNA and communication skills

  • You will have an advantage if you have experience with ESG implementation. In addition, it is essential that you find the topic exciting and see a unique opportunity to combine your interest with your educational background and professional experience.
  • We imagine that you may have a higher educational degree and background within e.g. either consulting, environmental management, law, finance, project management, organisational development, communication, or other relevant. However, we encourage everyone to apply, independent of academic background.
  • It is not a requirement to have a specialised knowledge in certain topics (e.g. circular economy, biodiversity, value chain due diligence, or local communities), but it is essential that you find it fascinating having dialogues with internal stakeholders such as biologists, local community and project managers or procurement managers. Hence, this is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on initiatives and expand your expertise.

For the position, it is important that you:

  • Have great communication skills – especially in English
  • Are positive in nature and a people person
  • Are analytically strong and able to understand various data
  • Have great project management skills, enabling you to plan, set an agenda, and maintain an overview easily
