Axpo is expanding its renewables portfolio by developing and managing battery storage projects. As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in building a pipeline of battery storage projects across Romania and SEE, from identifying sites to obtaining all necessary permits and engaging key stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Lead the battery storage project development cycle, from site identification to permit acquisition;
- Coordinate with external development companies;
- Engage with grid operators, landowners, authorities, and stakeholders for project approvals;
- Conduct site analyses and support due diligence processes;
- Prepare and manage relevant project documentation;
- Monitor regulatory updates and market reforms impacting battery storage in SEE.
What you bring & who you are:
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in renewable project development (PV, wind), ideally in authorization or grid application processes;
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with energy markets, especially in SEE;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured approach;
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities;
- Fluent in English.
