Strategy Manager in Group Strategy

As a Strategy Manager in our Group Strategy team, you will work together with a strong diverse team of 12 people and take a pivotal role in shaping European Energy’s future. You are expected to work closely with our executive management team, taking ownership of high-impact strategic projects that are critical to our growth and success. This role is not only about strategic analysis and planning; it is equally about driving action and seeing the results of your work come to life across our global business. From evaluating new markets and technologies to leading complex projects that optimize our business model, your contributions will have a direct and lasting impact on our company’s trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and drive large strategic projects across European Energy to ensure that we remain at the forefront of innovation and expansion in a rapidly changing sector;
- Manage all aspects of projects end-to-end to ensure successful outcomes that support our growth and operational excellence;
- Work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to align different perspectives and drive consensus to build towards successful implementation of strategic initiatives across the organization;
- Take responsibility for professional development and motivation of junior colleagues in the Group Strategy team via formulating learning goals, provide feedback and coaching;
- Bring in new strategic insights to our team via analysis, conferences, and networks to help guide our strategic direction and portfolio of projects;
- Drive mobilization and execution of strategy- and transformation projects in the business.
In general, you will be a key contributor to projects that drive our company’s growth and make a tangible impact on our future direction.
Professional Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, with excellent academic results;
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, ideally from a top-tier management consulting firm or a corporate strategy department;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies;
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects or leading independent workstreams, with a focus on achieving measurable results in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling analyses and presentations;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
