Senior Grid Engineer

The Grid Engineering team is responsible for creating grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from the conceptual design to execution across Europe.
Contributing to the development and realization of renewables projects at all stages focusing to grid connection and substation topics.
Undertaking engineering assessments to define technical specification, design and drawings, overall scope for contracting as well as CAPEX requirements.
Having a profound understanding of British engineering norms, and standards, legislation, regulation, related to electrical systems and grid operation.
Engaging with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections.
Defining and overseeing external engineering services, as well as scope of technical contracts.
Applying various engineering applications, e.g., Powerfactory and AutoCAD.
Provide feedback and contribute to continues improvement in all areas.
Flexible working arrangement including working from home and at our office’s locations in the UK but also across Europe.

University Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Advanced vocational qualifications and practical experienced is considered).
Strong/In-depth experience in the field of electrical grid engineering.
Solution orientated working, able to make high quality decisions.
Creative, open-minded individual with good sense of humor.
Business fluency in English.
Independent individual and team player.
