Your responsibilities
- Take the role of General Project Manager, manage project teams and coordinate the necessary activities towards the execution of assigned projects;
- Establish, maintain, and manage a project schedule starting at late-stage development until execution closure with a focus on deviation analysis and its respective impacts towards the project;
- Develop clear and precise work breakdown structures to efficiently reach expected project goals including project structuring and lot definitions to support the tendering, RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes;
- Ensure all acceptance criteria for each contractual scope has been met as per each contract’s terms;
- Ensure proper Risk Management process implementation for projects, including risk identification, evaluation, control and closure of any project risks, particularly with respect of impacts to project scope, finances, schedule, HSSEQ and possible impact to any outside party;
- Establish proper reporting of the project to the relevant stakeholders;
- Focus on continual improvement towards the process and way of working with a focus on implementation of digital systems and modern technologies to efficiently manage the construction and project management lifecycle;
- Actively promote a safe way of working culture;
- Report to the Head of Wind Project Management in respect of scope, finances, schedule and HSSEQ of assigned projects.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or other relevant degree;
- 7+ Years of professional experience in the management of large-scale and or multiple mid-sized onshore wind projects (Preferable construction, commissioning and handover to O&M);
- Basic understanding of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical concepts and drawings;
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and suppliers;
- Ability to proactively identify and implement cost-saving strategies to support project profitability;
- Able to work independently, and as a team, while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks;
- Advanced MS Project scheduling knowledge and techniques;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Ability and willingness to travel;
- International project experience;
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or International Project Management Association (IPMA) Certification;
- Preferred: Strong understanding of the principles contained within lean management, agile management and waterfall management including their respective strengths and weaknesses.
