In this role, you will lead the Energy Data Management (EDM) teams across multiple locations, ensuring the efficient management and distribution of energy data to both internal and external stakeholders. You will drive the transformation of the department in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, with a strong emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and harmonization of group-wide activities. This position offers the flexibility to be based at our offices in Olten or Lausanne.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the EDM teams for Origination and Assets across the Olten and Lausanne offices as well as in the international locations, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and motivation;
  • Engage with various stakeholders to consult and establish clear requirements and operational processes that align with business objectives;
  • Oversee the establishment, maintenance, and distribution of energy data to trading and financial systems, and external entities, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance;
  • Drive the transformation of the EDM department in alignment with the broader company strategy, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and harmonization of processes across the group;
  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams to enhance the various EDM system's functionality, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business and the energy market;
  • Develop and harmonize energy data processes and systems to adapt to market changes, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Your profile

  • University degree in business administration, finance and/or data management;
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in (energy) data management and implementing a data strategy as well as maintain operational excellence;
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and excellence and leading transformation processes;
  • Advanced knowledge of the energy sector, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements and technological advancements;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in English, with additional fluency in German or French considered an asset;
